In my practice, I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for trauma, addressing Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and utilizing Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), which is the gold standard in treating obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), to alleviate and process anxiety symptoms among other tools we will explore in our sessions.

  • What is anxiety therapy?

  • How do I know that I have anxiety?

    Common signs of anxiety include excessive worry, restlessness, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, muscle tension, and sleep disturbances. A mental health professional can provide a diagnosis based on a comprehensive assessment.   • How often does anxiety occur?

    Anxiety can occur in various frequencies and intensities. It may be situational or chronic. If anxiety significantly impacts daily life, seeking professional support is crucial.


  • What are the best anxiety therapy techniques?

    Effective anxiety therapy techniques include CBT, Exposure Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).


  • What is your private pay rate for sessions?

    My private pay rate is $175 for a 75-minute intake. All NEW clients will need to schedule an intake to better assess and develop a treatment plan based on their presenting issues. All subsequent individual sessions are $135. For 90-minute EMDR sessions, they are $200 per session.


  • What is EMDR?

    Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapeutic approach that helps individuals process traumatic memories and reduce distressing symptoms. For more information about EMDR check out https://www.emdria.org for more information




  • What is OCD?

    Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a mental health condition characterized by persistent, unwanted thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors or mental acts (compulsions).


  • What is ERP?

    Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is a type of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) used to treat OCD. It involves gradually facing feared situations and refraining from compulsive behaviors.


  • Do you accept insurance?

    Yes! Happy Autumn Counseling & Supervision, PLLC utilizes a third-party billing party Grow Therapy and Headway to be able to accept your insurance. We are INN with Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, BCBS, Humana, Oscar and Oxford. Please contact me directly so that I can provide you with a link and be able to schedule your session.



  • How will we have our online anxiety therapy sessions?

    If we are utilizing Grow Therapy- we will use Grow Therapy's HIPAA-compliant platform. All other sessions will be conducted through either Doxy or SimplePractice Telehealth which are also HIPAA compliant.


  • What is your cancellation/rescheduling Policy?

    Should the need for cancellation or rescheduling occur, Happy Autumn Counseling & Supervision, LLC requires you, the client, to call or email at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment or you will incur an out-of-pocket fee of $135 fee for the no show/late canceled session. Please contact 972-616-4999 with any questions/concerns. 


  • Good Faith Estimates

    Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.  

     You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. 


     Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. 


    You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.


     If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.  


    Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

    Be assured that there is no suprise billing from NPCS. We do not offer any additional services beyond what is listed in "Our Rates" section above (with the exception of our documentation fees and court-appearance fees which are listed in our intake paperwork) and therefore you will be not be billed for anything beyond the fees as described. If any new billable services are offered beyond what has been described, you will be given an estimate for your approval before that service is provided.
