Get to Know Me
Your story deserves to be heard.
I'm Stephanie, a bilingual therapist (Licensed Master Social Worker) passionate about creating a safe, compassionate space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported as you begin your healing journey.
As a first-generation Latina, Salvadoran American, I understand the unique experience of balancing cultural expectations, family responsibilities, personal goals, and your own mental well-being. I know that carrying the hopes of previous generations can be both meaningful and challenging at the same time.
I specialize in supporting adult women (18+) navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, and the unique challenges of being first generation. I have a special interest in working with first-gen college women as they navigate identity, achievement, family expectations, and finding their own path.
I also provide maternal mental health support: the emotional transitions of pregnancy, postpartum, and entering motherhood. My experience includes school-based mental health, public health, nonprofits, and healthcare settings.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I integrate CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, somatic techniques, and Narrative Therapy to support your individual needs.
Beyond individual therapy, I'm passionate about reducing mental health stigma and increasing access to culturally responsive care in the Latino community. I was part of the book Narrow It Down, where I shared my experiences navigating life in the United States, higher education, and the importance of seeking opportunities and support along the way.
I believe healing is not about becoming someone different, it's about reconnecting with the person you already are beneath the stress, anxiety, and doubt.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, adjusting to motherhood, healing generational patterns, or looking for a space where you can finally exhale and be yourself: you don't have to do it alone.
