Reprocess difficult memories without having to relive them. EMDR is an evidence-based, safe, and globally recognized approach for healing trauma, anxiety, and phobias. In whatever language you need.
EMDR doesn't require you to relive the pain to heal it. It's a different path, and often faster than you imagine.
See What We Treat →EMDR is a versatile approach with solid evidence for different experiences. Each process is adapted to your history, your pace, and your specific needs.
Memories that come back without warning, nightmares, hypervigilance. EMDR helps your brain process those memories so they stop controlling you.
Fears that activate intensely and seem impossible to control. EMDR reduces the emotional charge of triggers so you can regain freedom.
Before processing, we equip you with emotional regulation techniques. We create an internal safe space you can return to at any point during the session.
Using bilateral stimulation (eye movements, tapping, or sounds), your brain reprocesses memories that got "stuck." You don't have to narrate everything: your nervous system does much of the work.
Each session closes with stabilization. Changes integrate naturally between sessions. Many people notice relief within the first few weeks.
Watching a client arrive carrying a memory that paralyzes her, and in just a few sessions being able to talk about it, is the most powerful thing I've witnessed as a therapist.

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It's an evidence-based therapeutic approach where bilateral stimulation (eye movements, taps, or sounds) helps the brain process difficult memories that got "stuck." It's not hypnosis, and you don't need to relive the event in detail.
All sessions are via telehealth (video). Online EMDR is equally effective and allows us to serve you from Texas, Arkansas, and Florida with the same quality as in person.
It depends on each person and the nature of what is being processed. Some clients notice significant changes in 6 to 12 sessions. Others prefer a more gradual process. We assess this together from the start.
