Get to Know Me
My story is your story.
I'm a bilingual therapist, in Spanish and English, specializing in helping teens (13+) and adults overcome Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, trauma, body-focused repetitive behaviors, and substance use.
I especially enjoy working with teens and young adults, because those are years full of growth, change, and opportunity. I believe that learning healthy tools early on can transform the course of a life, and I strive to create a safe space where every teen feels heard, respected, and empowered.
My greatest clinical passion is treating OCD, particularly Health OCD and agoraphobia. There is nothing more rewarding than watching someone reclaim their independence: driving again, going back to school, traveling, visiting a restaurant, or simply leaving the house without fear controlling their decisions.
I also specialize in treating trichotillomania (hair-pulling disorder) and other body-focused repetitive behaviors, using evidence-based interventions.
I combine warmth, collaboration, and practical strategies: I integrate ERP, EMDR, I-CBT, ACT, CBT, Habit Reversal Training (HRT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to create an individualized treatment plan that generates lasting change.
In addition to psychotherapy, I conduct immigration psychological evaluations for VAWA, U-Visa, T-Visa, asylum, hardship waivers, and other humanitarian immigration cases.
My goal is simple: to offer you compassionate, culturally responsive, evidence-based care that helps you stop just surviving and start living according to your values, not your anxiety.
Healing is not linear. It takes courage to ask for help, face your fears, and keep trying even when progress feels slow.
